The bond between vampyres and their donors is typically based on trust and mutual understanding. A Donorship dynamic can be either strictly professional or intimate, it's the parties involved who decide this.

Community Development
Donors contribute to fostering a sense of community within the vampyre subculture. Their involvment not only helps other donors become educated but they also support vampyres through difficult times and vice versa. They are truly the backbone of the community who understand us enough to give us their support let alone life force.

Knowledge
As mentioned before Donors often bring different perspectives and experiences, This is why it is important to not only just voice vampyre experience but to voice and uplift donors as well!

Ethics and Consent
The importance of informed consent and ethical practices in donorships cannot be overstated. Respecting boundaries and ensuring that donors and the vampyre feel safe and valued. This will allow us to point out the bad actors within the community, and have the awareness that both vampyre and donor can be manipulative.

Nourishment 
Donors supply the life force through energy and/or blood that vampyres require. This connection is fundamental for the vampyres needs.
